Inground and Above Ground Pool Cleaning Terms and Conditions
Full Season Maintenance Agreement with Legacy Pools and Patios
Contract Coverage
– Pool Opening: Initial cleaning and start-up chemicals. Salt not included but free delivery available.
– Weekly Maintenance: Includes vacuuming, skimming, brushing, emptying pump/skimmer baskets and pool cleaner bags, ensuring equipment functions correctly, filter cleaning/backwashing as required, and water testing each visit.
– Pool Closing: Preparing your pool for the winter season.
Chemical Management
– All chemicals necessary for the start-up, weekly maintenance, and winterization are supplied by Legacy Pools and Patios.
– Chemical costs are included within the contract, sans salt which is available at local market rate with no charge for delivery on your assigned day.
Communication
– A notification will be left after each maintenance visit, outlining the tasks completed and/or parts replaced.
Preparation by Homeowner
– Ensure access is available for Legacy Pools and Patios’ team (e.g., unlocking gates).
– Maintain water levels to operational standards.
– Ensure clear access to the equipment pad area.
– Any animal is secured.
– No overgrown hedges, bushes or junk impeding access to your pool and or equipment.
Scheduling and Service
– Maintenance is planned for the same day each week; any changes due to unforeseen circumstances will be promptly communicated and rescheduled.
– Additional visits may be necessary to address specific issues with the pool or equipment.
Exclusions
– The agreement does not cover pool cover cleaning, repairs, parts, or equipment replacements.
– Costs for any parts replaced during maintenance will be billed separately.
– Legacy Pools and Patios does not guarantee the removal of stains on pool finishes or deck cover lines.
Liability and Access
– Homeowners are responsible for any conditions that may cause pool movement.
– Equipment malfunctions are outside the responsibility of Legacy Pools and Patios.
– Homeowners are liable for pets on the property during service visits.
– Contract acceptance grants Legacy Pools and Patios permission to enter the property for service purposes.
Green to Clean Service Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Legacy Pools and Patios’ Green to Clean service, designed to restore clarity and health to your pool water. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Service Overview
– Our Green to Clean service includes the assessment of your pool’s condition, chemical treatment to kill algae and restore water clarity, and the necessary cleaning procedures to bring your pool back to a healthy state.
Customer Responsibilities
– Access: Provide clear access to the pool and equipment on scheduled service days.
– Water Level: Maintain an adequate water level in the pool to ensure proper operation of the cleaning equipment.
Service Process:
– Assessment: An initial assessment will be conducted to determine the extent of algae infestation and the required treatment plan. Please note if your pool is light green, dark green or swamp.
– Chemical Treatment: We will administer high-grade algaecides and chlorine to eliminate algae and bacteria.
– Cleaning and Filtration: Includes brushing of pool walls and floor, vacuuming debris, and backwashing/cleaning the filter system as needed.
Chemical Safety
– Legacy Pools and Patios will use only professional-grade chemicals, ensuring the safety and effectiveness of the treatment. Pool use is strictly prohibited until we declare the water safe.
Service Timeframe
– The typical turnaround time from green to clean is 2-5 visits, depending on the pool’s condition and size. This timeframe may vary based on weather conditions and the severity of algae infestation and availablity. IF you have a hard deadline please inform a Legacy employee upon intake and we will do our best to accommodate.
Guarantee
– We guarantee a significant improvement in water clarity and quality. However, some pools may require additional treatments or repairs to fully restore balance and clarity. Any additional services will be communicated and quoted accordingly.
Payment
– Payment for the Green to Clean service is due in full upfront. Any additional services or repairs will be quoted separately and require customer approval before commencement.
Limitations
– This service does not cover repairs to pool equipment, structural repairs, or deep stains removal caused by algae infestation. These services may be provided at an additional cost.
Liability
– Legacy Pools and Patios is not liable for pre-existing conditions that may be revealed during the cleaning process, such as leaks, equipment malfunctions, or structural damage.
Acceptance of Terms
– By utilizing the Green to Clean service from Legacy Pools and Patios, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we are committed to restoring your pool to its optimal condition.
